Join us Saturday, November 3rd for a 60 minute SWEAT Barre class at Spoonwood Brewing Company. Be prepared to tone, strengthen, and SWEAT to the beat of the music- then stay to enjoy a few brews and brunch with us! If interested, you can participate in a tour of the brewery following brunch.
Sunday, November 4
Join P3R for a cool 10-mile run through the historic neighborhoods of the Burgh. The race starts at 8am at Station Square and ventures into the North Shore before finishing downtown. Complete the afternoon with post-race celebrations, food, and live music.
Join Barbara Patterson, Dionna Butler and Sarita Wells in this Zumbathon Charity Event as we sweat our way in support of funding research, patient services and so much more in the battle of Pancreatic Cancer. Proceeds will go to the Pancreatic Cancer Network. This is a fitness event so please dress accordingly with sneakers and athletic wear- Zumba wear is encourgaed!!

Get healthy while being healthy! We’ll join a local medical professional for an easy-paced walk that gets our bodies moving and stimulates our minds. The medical professional will introduce his or her field of study and answer individual questions as we walk. At each stop along the trail, our expert will share tips for staying healthy.

Join us for the 29th annual indoor triathlon/biathlon that will be held at the Westin Workout Pittsburgh. Choose which events and how many you would like to participate in. The main event is held from 4pm-7pm, but participants can come anytime between 7am and 7pm to participate in your choice of event(s).
Saturday, November 10
Run wild at this year’s ZooZilla 5K. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate in one of Pittsburgh’s most challenging courses as they weave through the Zoo. Admission to the Zoo is included in your registration.
The Buffalo Township Parks and Recreation Committee is hosting the 8th annual Veterans Day Race on the Butler-Freeport Community Trail on Saturday November 10, 2018. Race starts promptly at 9:00 AM. Squeeze in one more race on this beautiful trail before winter takes over!
Warm up from the cold weather with this 45-minute class at CycleBar North Hills at 1:15pm. The proceeds will help families in need during the winter months. Door prizes and refreshments will also be included.

Exercise doesn’t have to be dull! This winter, come outside and play as we hike Pittsburgh’s rugged terrain. We’ll warm up quickly, climbing steep hills and impossibly high stairways with incredible views of the city from unusual vantages. This series of nine challenging 5 to 6-mile weeknight hikes will move at a fast pace – we’ll work up a sweat! We’ll stop occasionally to discuss local landmarks.

What better way to prepare for turkey day than the classic YMCA Turkey Trot. Choose your distance from the one-mile run, 5k, or five-mile run. Or, if you are really up for a challenge take a gander at the Double Gobble, which consists of the 5k and the five-mile races. Check the website for registration and start time details.
Saturday, November 24
If you like to cycle and are up for a challenge, this race has your name all over it. The 36th Annual Dirty Dozen ride will start at the Bud Harris Cycling Track and travel to the highest heights of the Burgh. You’ll certainly feel the burn after conquering these 13 hills of up to a mile in length… and 20% to 37% grade of Pittsburgh’s worst hills.
Come see if you are the fittest of them all during the 4th Annual Gobbler event at St. Clair Fitness. Each same-sex team will carry out a series of challenges to determine who is #1.

Cedar Creek Park is the perfect fall destination. Located along the Youghiogheny River in Westmoreland County, the park trails follow Cedar Creek and include two suspension bridges. We’ll cover 2 to 3 miles at an easy pace.
