You’ll see corporate skyscrapers––originally designed for Gulf Oil, Koppers, and U. S.     Downtown’s showcase Farmers Market will be celebrating its 15th season with fresh produce and goods from local vendors while providing the Downtown community with a unique and convenient shopping experience that enlivened the city. Each Thursday during the season, an average of 7,000 – 10,000 office employees, residents, and visitors to Pittsburgh come to Market Square to enjoy the gourmet treats, fresh grocery finds, and unique entertainment opportunities throughout the market.

    UPMC Kids Free Sundays

    Senator John Heinz History Center 1212 Smallman st, Pittsburgh, PA

    Every Sunday in June, the Senator John Heinz History Center will offer free admission to all kids age 17 and under, thanks to UPMC! Visitors can peer into the cockpit of a 48-foot Huey helicopter at the museum’s newest exhibition, The Vietnam War: 1945-1975. Enjoy the History Center’s six floors of award-winning exhibitions and interactive learning spaces, including Kidsburgh play zone, the UPMC SmartSteps, the western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, Discovery Place, the original Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood set and puppets, and more! This offer is open to the general public and UPMC Health Plan member ID card is not required.
