UPMC Kids Free Sundays

Senator John Heinz History Center 1212 Smallman st, Pittsburgh

Every Sunday in June, the Senator John Heinz History Center will offer free admission to all kids age 17 and under, thanks to UPMC! Visitors can peer into the cockpit of a 48-foot Huey helicopter at the museum’s newest exhibition, The Vietnam War: 1945-1975. Enjoy the History Center’s six floors of award-winning exhibitions and interactive learning spaces, including Kidsburgh play zone, the UPMC SmartSteps, the western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, Discovery Place, the original Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood set and puppets, and more! This offer is open to the general public and UPMC Health Plan member ID card is not required.

Join us for a day of music and festivities at the 2019 WYEP Summer Music Festival. The lineup includes: Pierce Dipner (3 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.) Elias Khouri (3:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.) Nevada Color (4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.) Clara Kent (6 p.m. - 7 p.m.) Cautious Clay (7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) DeVotchKa (9 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.) WYEP's Summer Music Festival is presented by UPMC Health Plan and is also sponsored by Dollar Bank, Green Mountain Energy, and Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.
