Blueberry salsa recipe

I recently was in the grocery store and found sweet potato and pumpkin tortilla chips. While thinking in the checkout line about what I could have with them, I remembered this recipe, and it was a delicious pairing. Although you may think blueberries are just for the summer, the rich color of the salsa reminds me of the fall and winter months and is a fresh addition to any football party!


  • 1 pint blueberries
  • ¼ of a sweet red pepper
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • Juice from ½ of a lime
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and chop well. Serve chilled with your choice of chips.
