    Mindfulness Meditation 101

    Learn what meditation is and how it can benefit you. There are simple ways to incorporate mediation into your life and you don't have to be from another planet or super spiritual to enjoy the benefits of incorporating this practice into your life. If you have a desire to reduce stress and operate through life from a place of peace and calm, this series is for you. When you are in a peaceful state, you are more present to experience joy! Learn the power of breath, mind, body and spirit! $20 per session

    Museums are a place of restoration and creativity. Join us for a weekly yoga session set in Pittsburgh’s most beautiful spaces! Class sessions are open to all levels and to ages 18 and over. Please bring a mat. $10 ($8 members, $5 students). A 10-class pass can be purchased at the door for $75, $50 for members and students.

    Tai Chi for Rehabilitation was developed as a gentle, healing form to use as a tool to help in recovery from conditions including stroke, heart disease, injury, surgical procedures or tiredness and stress. Tai Chi for Rehabilitation will improve generalized health and vitality.  Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth, body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind while practicing Tai Chi.     From bridges to stadiums to fantastic views of downtown and more, there is plenty to see on the North Shore 5k route. We make plenty of stops for photo opportunities on this flat, fun route. We will run at a casual pace, to accommodate all abilities on this guided tour. $25 for a one hour tour.  What to Bring: Running shoes, water, sun protection, running apparel

    Downtown 5K Tour

    Downtown Pittsburgh (or ‘dahntahn’ as the locals know it) is full of history, from the French and Indian War to the Underground Railroad. Learn about Fort Pitt, the Diamond Market, and more of Pittsburgh’s fascinating history on this 5k tour. We will run at a casual pace, to accommodate all abilities on this guided tour. This tour is stroller-friendly.

    Join us for a free yoga class every Saturday with instructor Lauren Stoner. This therapeutic based session uses movement and meditation to heal mind, body and spirit. Once a month we will also offer art or dance therapy sessions provided by Fine Art Miracles. The location of this class is one one flight of stairs.
