Self-Care Saturdays

Brookline Teen Outreach 520 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh

Join us for a free yoga class every Saturday with instructor Lauren Stoner. This therapeutic based session uses movement and meditation to heal mind, body and spirit. Once a month we will also offer art or dance therapy sessions provided by Fine Art Miracles. The location of this class is one one flight of stairs. Tai Chi for Rehabilitation was developed as a gentle, healing form to use as a tool to help in recovery from conditions including stroke, heart disease, injury, surgical procedures or tiredness and stress. Tai Chi for Rehabilitation will improve generalized health and vitality.  Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth, body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind while practicing Tai Chi.
