Summer Mango Salsa Recipe | UPMC Health Plan

Ever since I returned from the Philippines earlier this year, I have been craving mangos!  We were able to have them every day and I have been looking forward to “mango season” here in the States. One of the great things about mangos is that they are easy to prepare in a variety of ways. They are sweet enough to be considered a snack and also juicy enough to be paired with salads and even salsa, like this mango salsa recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 mango, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup cucumber, chopped
  • ⅓ cup of chopped onion
  • 4-5 Tbsp. of fresh chopped cilantro

 

Directions

  1. Chop the onion, cucumber, and mango.
  2. Mix items into a serving bowl and chill.
